Two Observers commented that things were about to become "hard" for Olivia while observing her on a roller coaster. I think they are fond of her. Who wouldn't be! I can't help but to wonder where the Observers are from. My best guess...the future!
I hope they are there to give Olivia a hand instead of just observing!

AND STOP IGNORING HIM! Josh has been wasted and John and Anna have ALWAYS been given the chance to show thier acting chops but oh not Josh, no sir! They ignore his character and its not freaking fair. I think we Peter fans should be MORE Vocal and voice your complaints about the lack of Peter storylines, lack of Peter-centric episodes and lack of Josh's acting.

So was I the only one that this occured to? In the episode Walter explains that they used 5-20-10 for the lock combination for everything, but he can't remember why.
Considering last years season finale happened on 5-16-09 (I think), it seems that the combination refers to the date and that this date could likely be the finale episode of the season. (It lands on Thursday, which is the day Fringe usually airs I believe? I watch off the website so I'm also not entirely sure). I thought that would be the case when the man from the alternate dimension mentions its 2010, meaning Fringe is likely trying to keep the years in perfect alignment instead of falling years behind such as some shows end up like (for instance, Lost). Now the date tagging the finale doesn't mean much as it wouldn't correspond to anything in the show. So what does it mean? If we follow what happened in the Jacksonville episode, the dimensions were exchanging matter so if we follow this train of thought and assume that the premise of the episode and the date correspond to each other this is the idea I come up with. May 20th, 2010 is the date when the 2 dimensions will merge, and one will be destroyed. (would make for a good finale episode eh?)

The rules are simple:
1. The first person posts a Fringe related word ie: BELL 2. The next person posts word that starts with the last letter of the previous word. e.g. if the last word was BELL" the new word could be "LAB" or "LEONARD" 3. You can not post 2 times in a row... 4. Words must be Fringe related 5. Good Luck!

This question been bugging me for months n i juz hope someone can enlighten me.
Season 2 E1, right in beginning, we saw the shapeshifter in the form of a bald, abit short man fleeing from the car crash accident into an apartment where he killed a resident n took his form, leaving behind his original bald-look form behind. We saw this bald body in the morgue and Peter n agent Jessup commented shapeshifter muz leave the original body behind. In the hospital, the shapeshifter, in his new look (which is the look of the apartment's resident) killed the nurse n took her form. She subsequently killed Charlie in the boiler room n changed into him. By the theory goes, when the shapeshifter nurse killed Charlie n turned into 'him', the original 'nurse' look was left behind. Meaning they switched 'appearances'. Hence we saw the 'nurse' body when Peter n agent Jessup all arrived. Now the shapeshifter is 'Charlie'. Then how come at the end of the episode, we saw Charlie's body being burned? By right this shouldn't be happening since the shapeshifter nurse 'stole' Charlie's look n left behind the 'nurse' look. The new 'Charlie' had not killed anyone else to transform yet so we shouldn't be seeing his body.

First off, did The Observer get tickets to the Superbowl? Anybody make a siting?
Secondly, even though Superbowl 44 was one of the most exciting, down to the wire Superbowls ever, and I could watch replays of Fringe here, I'd gladly forgo the Superbowl, probably all of them from now on, to catch season 3! (and 4 for that matter!) And for Fringe to outlast Gunsmoke in longevity, I'd even give up football! Heck I'd even forgo the Superbowl to see immediately a new Fringe episode since Fringe is a more spectacular show! (And like most of us I'm that far gone in my Fringe addiction.)

I am guessing that our fair Agent Dunham will have to kick major butt on the other side and straighten a few people out over there! She will not get involved with Peter...too many trust issues with him being from the other side. Walter will have to come clean about what he knows, and knows, and knows!
Olivia is the bestest most complex heroin in recent memory! And she is such a dish! Go get em Oilve! Kick butt! |

Just pointing out that in the newest ep. "Jacksonville" when Olivia is searching the classroom at the daycare, on the table by the blackboard the camera pans over is a white stuffed bunny and A house of cards with the Queen of Hearts most emphasized (because it wasnt completely dusty). These two images are consistant with the easter egg hunt advertisement we were given for season 2, in which walter olivia, and peter are standing infront of a gaping hole in the ground! Oh yea and behind the two items on the desk is a conch shell which could be used to example the fibonacci spiral again.

How long would it be for people to stop bashing Peter? I am sick of it. People always respected Olivia and Walter but Peter was always the one who gets bashed. what is wrong with people? I hope we get a Peter-centered episode that shows his past and present and actually see JOSH ACT and then people will stop whining about his character.

just want to continuously send the message that we want a season 3! This show is the first show in a long time that has kept my interest and been truly entertaining and though-provoking. I love the writers and the cast. Please keep it going! Don't let it die like the wonderful show "Firefly". That was the last show I loved and it's gone forever :(

You know, I think "stand alone" episodes may hold clues about the mysteries and mythology in future episodes.
Case in point, Astrid, in Johari Window: Walter passes along to us,almost as an aside, that Astrid is a lepidopterist, a specially educated expert in butterflies. When the importance of that dawned on me, IT BLEW ME COMPLETELY AWAY! Flash!!!...this may be important! We've seen a man killed by butterflies. Kind of reminds me of Jim Morrison's words,"I want to hear...the scream...of the butterfly." One of the glyphs is a butterfly. Butterflies are seen on n Fringe and all over the place on the official website. So butterflies are significant. Astrid is significant! Astrid's education in butterflies is NOT a mere coincidence! Something BIG is coming on Fringe for Astrid. She's just waiting in the wings, in the wings,in reserve, for the right time for Jasika Nicole to show her stuff!!! Right now, speaking metaphorically, , she's in a chrysalis, or cocoon. Nobody knows yet, how STRONG, gentle, meek Astrid really is. Though it may be a dated phrase, it applies. YOU GO GIRL!!! Am I the only one to discover who she might be and whats comin' down the pike? What do you think?

I don't like the character played by Joshua Jackson -- Peter Bishop. I really dislike the lack of respect he shows for his father by frequently inserting sarcastic comments about whatever his father is doing. Granted, his father has and continues to have mental issues, but he is portrayed as a brilliant man and deserves better from his son. The lack of respect is further reinforced by Peter's addressing his father as "Walter." You notice the character of Olivia respects Walter Bishop. I think you need to soften up his character or let him go!

I went to 13th & Washington in NY via Google Maps (the alleged site of the Hotel that disappears) and clicked on the human figure above the "zoom +" symbol to enter "street view" mode. Next I headed up 13th north, toward the river, and stumbled right into a very interesting mural on the wall at 444 W. 13th.
I've screen-captured the image and you can see it at the top of my Fringe Profile page (just click my name, to the left, and choose "View Profile"). Anyone got any information on how long this has been there? It's an older image of Nimoy (or should I say, "Belly"), but I couldn't swear it wasn't placed there by Fringe as a clue. Perhaps the writers used this location as a homage to the mural. Either way, it makes you wonder. Now, I going to do some big-time reaching... Near the mural, on the corner of W. 13th St. and 10th Ave. there's a construction site (not quite like that left by the disappearence of the Hotel). Oddly, the shadows from some low structures on the roofs of abutting buildings seem to suggest the Twin Towers. I'm not saying this is remotely important, just that my mind kind of filled in this visual pattern. Please comment! P.S. I've uploaded these images to the Photo Gallery.
