Fringe Blog: Walter meet Homer

I had to read it twice myself to believe it, but two seriously alternate universes are set to collide this week when the usual paranormal Fringe "Easter Eggs" will instead be references to The Simpsons.

In a 20th anniversary celebration of The Simpsons, FOX is putting together a scavenger hunt together that will feature snippets of The Simpsons on other hit FOX shows, including Fringe. We should expect to see "references that wouldn't be too obscure, though still fun to spot."

Actually, it'll be interesting to see if any of these pop up on Fringe this week since the episodes were delayed with baseball... If anybody spots any on this or one of the upcoming episodes, please post 'em! Do you find this valuable?

Speculations:
- The observer will receinve information from his superior, Sideshow Bob
- Walter will eat a donut from Lardy Lad or even better (or worse) a Krusty Burger
- Astrid will receive a letter from her penpal, a little genius named Lisa
- The team will investigate a case regarding nuclear energy and Peter will contact one of his "friend", a guy commonly known as Mr Plow who works in a power plant.
- Olivia will contact Professor Frink to validate one of Walter's funky theory
- While briefing his team on a case, Broyles will show a descriptive video hosted by Troy McLure.

I hope this is jusy a rumour to promote the Simpsons or Fringe. The Simpsons have been getting more ridiculous by the episode and should be taken off the air. Do you find this valuable?

No, it's not a rumor...it's actually a big blitz going on across the FOX network. Fringe is just one of the shows that is set to drop some Simpsons Easter Eggs. However, I'm not sure what the baseball schedule did though, since some shows aired and some were put off... Do you find this valuable?
