Major disappointment for Fringe fans may lie ahead (or not). In an interview with the LA Times, Leonard Nimoy (aka William Bell) says that he's not sure that he'll return for more Fringe. "I've done three appearances for them. I don't know if I will do a fourth..." says Nimoy. "They've asked me to do more, but we have to talk about where the character is going."According to Nimoy, photography is his passion these days. He currently has an exhibition at the Santa Monica Museum of Art, titled Who Do You Think You Are? which is a series of portraits where subjects reveal their secret selves. Thoughts on Fringe without Williiam Bell? Do you find this valuable?

I think they have utilized the character very well thus far and I would hope they continue to keep him somewhat secluded (a mystery) until it is absolutely necessary to bring him back. For someone who has picked every episode of this show apart piece by piece, there aren't that many secrets. Losing Nimoy completely would be a big disappointment, but overusing him would be an even bigger one. Do you find this valuable? |

Well I hope this doesn't mean he's going to be gone for good.I don't want him worn out ...but I definitely don't want him to be gone! This show rocks, and he's a perfect Bell in my opinion! Do you find this valuable? |

I *bet* he comes back...It's interesting that Nimoy didn't know anything about Fringe before taking on the part. Like you, Pink, I can't think of a better person to play Bell than Nimoy!
