Fringe Blog: Fringe gives Fox a Boost
Oct 27 2009, 2:01 PM EDT
Fringe fans haven't been necessarily pleased with the recent pre-emptings of Fringe by baseball, but on the upside, baseball (along with a killer regular TV lineup) is giving Fox the boost it needed to pull into first place for the season, WAY early on. According to James Hibberd:In addition to stronger-than-usual baseball playoffs, Fox's fall has been boosted by pushing popular scripted dramas ("Bones," "Fringe") into competitive Thursdays; shifting summer hit "So You Think You Can Dance" into the fall and pairing it with its Wednesday freshman breakout series "Glee," and the network's Sunday night animated block receiving a boost by the new "Family Guy" spinoff "Cleveland." So, while we've got to wait a few more weeks for the Fringe team to return, baseball is doing great things for Fox, and what's good for Fox in general, is good for Fringe, which is clearly a heavy hitter on the ultra-competitive Thursday night lineup. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Thank You,,thank you Wild-Kat. I couldn't of agree with you more. I did get into an argument on Ventrilo this morning with another friend about this Baseball thing and how i'm missing Fringe. You would think in this day and age a lot of people just don't watch it anymore and maybe if Fox Created a Spots Channel everything would be cool.
