will this last?
Oct 23 2009, 5:45 PM EDT
i am just waiting for this to be cancelled. there have been a few shows in the last couple of years that got cancelled that i was following and it would not suprise me that as they have started shuffling the show around to different time slots that the end is near. what is the deal with the terminator? is that toast? i was pretty impressed with the acting although the writing was lacking.

Not sure why the heck you would come on this board asking if the show will be cancelled and is waiting for it to be cancelled. You are a dumbass.

well from one dumbass to another i was merely speculating that when producers begin shuffling shows around to different time slots it's because they are not getting the ratings they are looking for and in the past (like with TSCC) they have cancelled shows. hopefully you are not such a dumbass that you haven't noticed this, but then you probably didn't vote in the last election or were not old enough to vote. i have e-mailed FOX expressing my opinion about not cancelling shows without giving them a chance to catch on. how bout you??

Hard to say why some work and some don't. Every time I think about how many seasons of Lost got crapped out versus how quickly they canned Enterprise, I get a little ill. Perhaps you have a reason to feel insecure about the schedule. The network execs are clearly bi-polar.So, if any of you Fringe execs are reading these posts, do try to give the show more of a shot than you gave Terminator .. which wasn't super-great, but it deserved better. The show isn't getting the ratings that it did last year, unfortunately!! This saddens me, I hope it will get switched to another night, like back to Tuesday, where it was doing much better!! Do not want them to cancel this show!! I LOVE IT!!!

Do not want them to cancel this show!! I LOVE IT!!!"Obviously, if you've read other posts from me, you already know how passionately I want this show to survive and thrive. However, I feel reasonably sure that Fringe will not be moved again. (at least not in this season, if, Lord willing, it survives.) I believe (and I'd love to be wrong) Fringe will not be moved because, to the powers that be, to do so would be an admission of their own error and denial of their own infallibility. The Fringe on Thursday fiasco is not a mega million dollar "new improved Coca-Cola" promotional blunder. Perhaps the person with the brilliant idea of changing Coke and the person who moved Fringe to Thursday are one and the same. It's an ominous thought, but where in the multiverse of infinite worlds could one actually find two people that dumb? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Looks and sounds great. Pre-ordered in April, and will finish 2nd viewing tonight before Fringe takes off again. I miss Sarah Cronicles to, was getting good. See on website, was due to lack of funds I guess, and showsm were expensive to make. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"i know i'll be pissed because i didn't catch on until the second season and have spent like 90 million dollars renting the season one three episode DVD's...lol. i should have just bought the dang thing...Well I'm happy I'm not the only one to discover Fringe this season!! i've bought the dvd as soon as I could and have watched it all the way through once and am half-way through the second time viewing now. I keep going back to my favourite episodes to watch and rewatch and savour! As for cancellation, well I certainly hope not - I don't expect it too, but I also think they have to find a time slot it wins, like X-Files finally did - sorry, but X-files WAS a Fox show also, and it was on a Friday night of all things and look how long it lasted. So Fox execs can stand by a show, if we stand by Fringe. Sure am glad jeffnvegas has emailed the execs too. They don't count our watching it in Canada, sadly, as important. There have been different views of how successful Fringe is in this time slot, with it opposite NCIS and The Office and 30 Rock. Personally I both DVR Fringe and watch Fringe live, just cause I can't wait until 10 to see it!!! Fortunately we can DVR two things at once, so I still get The Office and 30 Rock in, but Fringe wins hands down for me. I certainly am planning on it going to a third, and TV universe willing, a 4th season, since I think the story arcs can last that long and there's so much to do and tell with this story. But then I am an incurable optimist who looks on the darkside, and I still remember Firefly...... 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

It's because Walter's a product of the sixties. Me too. Sometime I I need to tell you about the 60s and the times we had in the lab at Harvard. If we could only remember... Walter would tell you,and so would I. It's like they say,"If you can remember the sixties you weren't there." To this day, Walter still, sometimes, says, "I can't remember." and so do I. You know, I don't know how often I've said that. I can't remember. ;) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
