Peter made a deal with Nina. What was it?
Was the identity of Peter's mother ever mentioned?

I think this is what you meant by the DEAL, in ep.1.06 The Cure:

NINA: Now I have all kinds of information, Peter, and some of it does me no good. Well, take the Aymara people, for instance, of Central Peru. I know that the soil beneath their land houses a naturally occurring metal alloy that is potentially hyper-conductive. I also know that you have managed to successfully conduct business with these and other tribal concerns, in parts of the world traditionally resistant to development.

PETER: I’m sorry, Ms. Sharp. I think I must’ve missed your question.

NINA: My question is, are you willing to make a bargain? I’d give you the exact location you want, and in exchange, I get to come to you someday, and you return the favor. No questions asked. So… Do we have a deal?

*** I don't think Nina has asked for that 'return favor' yet ...... we will see! ***

Up to now (ep.2.05) The identity of Peter's mom is never mentioned, but we did caught bit and pieces of information from various conversion from Peter and Walter.

You're absolutely right, Gil, there hasn't been a return favor yet asked by Nina. It gave me an icky feeling when she said to Peter that she and his dad were 'very close' once when he was young. I wondered if she was hinting that she knew the real Peter, or that he was from the other side. And also just how close she and Walter were.....

I keep waiting for something of Peter's mother to be revealed!! When he lifts the photo of his childhood in the cottage in 1.20, he wipes off half the dust - his dad and a young Peter, but I'm not sure which Peter it is. The mother's side he leaves covered - all I could see was she had on sunglasses, it looked like! - but he still hasn't said anything to Olivia about his mother - remember she asks, and he says, 'that's a story for another time' - an early episode in season 1, but I can't remember which one. We don't even know if she is alive or not!! I'm guessing no, she's not, otherwise we would have seen Peter communicating with her at some point.
