WHAT WILL SEASON 2 BRING
Jul 3 2009, 1:02 AM EDT
Peter Bishop is dead, Walter got "new" son Peter, from alternate universe. Then "repaired the patch" to prevent anyone from "coming across" and retreving him.

one problem is perception...we've been under the impression that the reality we've been following, OUR reality, is the right one. Now that we know there's at least one other parallel reality, it brings into the question which the REAL reality is, and raises the possibility of other parallel existences. From a plotline point of view, we're at a crucial juncture...the plot could get very interesting and have me hooked to the very last episode, or become wildly silly and lose my interest. Learn from the x-files mistake. They had a very interesting sub-plot, but you get the impression that it's story was never written down and so the conclusion was made up as it went along! Write the story down, and tell the story properly.

in one of the begining interviews Abrams said that they worked backwards, so unlike LOST, the producers/directors know where FRINGE is going.and i'd have to assume that our reality is THE reality since it's where everything takes place. i'd get wayyyy too confused otherwise lol Do you find this valuable? |

Hopefully season 2 will bring less Walter and Olivia and more development for Peter. Maybe people will show more appreciation for his character.

It brings a lot of questions to a whole new level: not only can we ask ourselves who's side John Scott was working for, but who's reality's side was he working for. And so on for every character. But KayFlame is right: it could become very confusing too. Do you find this valuable? |

Now that its back open (olivia had to get through somehow) will people start coming for him. Is the peter we know different from the peter that should have been? i know that the otherverse people are different from us but is that because of the fact they were raised in the otherverse (Nature vs. Nurture)

Nothing in Fringe is ever certain, but I am certain season 2 will bring even more unanswered questions, more bizarre pattern-incidents, more off-the-wall ramblings from Walter, more intrigue from Massive Dynamic, more Observer sightings, and a great lead-in for season 3.
