Case 91
Jun 7 2009, 2:33 AM EDT
I used Google Earth to plot the 5 towns Estherville, Cresco, Carroll, Vinton, and Parkersberg. After drawing a line connecting the first four in the shape of a rectangle (like shown in evidence #03), I then estimated the length of side 'b'. Using the Golden Ratio formula (a+b)/a=a/b I found that it was the makings of a Golden Rectangle, from which you can create a golden spiral.Do you find this valuable?

I did a little photo-painting and came up with - http://image.wetpaint.com/image/1/lU8M8wgrzuoPwvi6Ov7nYA1244486. There are many threads and pics of the case 0091 stuff, if you cant find them i'll post ye some links if you want. Do you find this valuable? |

I found this most interesting: http://www.fenkefeng.org/essaysm18004.html. That site seems to spell out most of the connections between the Fibonacci Numbers and patterns in geometry and biology. There is a section (5.5) that explains a curious connection to the Golden Ratio and DNA, aside from the obvious shape of the doublie helix. Hence the evidence #05, an image of gel electro-phoresis, which is used to separate DNA strands for comparison.
