Lawsuit Prevention

I cut the theme song from Fringe and wish to make it available to you folks. The problem is how to prevent from getting sued. What information do I need to add, tied with the track itself? Where do I upload it? And how to make it downloadable? I'm assuming I know how to put the link up for it.

Thanks for the quick reply! But I do have 2 more questions – Wouldn't this mean that the mp3 and wav page is useless, due to copyright infringement issues? Are we allowed to do a rendition of the theme song?

Being that this is the official webpage/wiki, I suspect there would be more leniency towards anything like that, tho. So we have that over other fansites. But you can try anything. The worst they'll do is yank it. Usually pretty quick. But, look how fast the NFL got the video of the Observer from the NFC north championship game pulled from youtube --not even 18 hours. But you have to swear you own rights to those images. I don't think that happens here. They encourage it. So you'd be OK on the mp3 area here. Probably. Confused? I know I am.
