"Just reviewed the last episode aired. Is it just me, or did the Observer in 1.14 (watching the guys orifices close up at the newstand) look like someone other than Michael Ceveris? Did he loose weight? or am I loosing my eyesight?

Up until now , it has been him 100% Even going to the trouble of digitally inserting him into several episodes this year (due to shooting conflicts with his Broadway schedule).

Maybe I'm just too tired."
i see what you mean --he is thinner looking.

"Sorry, forgot to mention, but in "The Arrival", I think the 'observer' or 'watcher' was not predicting anything, but recording results from an experimental delivery and recall of a test object. I thought they were recreating or re-engineering an experiment that failed before, (the vessels that blew up before this one,).

Many thanks and kudos to those that typed out the key from ZFTm."
I don't believe the Observer in 1.04 had anything to do with the bullet, other than the recording of its arrival and departure. Remember, he himself couldn't touch it. I don't think he or his people would would create something that would be untouchable by them and not their enemies. It wouldn't make sense.

The incident speaks to me of matter- anti-matter incompatability, or perhaps the discordant properties of atoms from parallel universes not vibrating at the same frequencies, thus causing, perhaps, an irreversible dissonance (like Tesla's experiment that went horribly, horribly wrong in New York, only on a much greater scale).

Also, I believe this was the same probe that the military had encountered a decade before. I believe they said it exploded downward (back into the earth, leaving a hole) just as it did at the end of this episode. I don't remember hearing anything in that episode about it having failed before.

i do believe the kid is a young version of another observer. didnt they mention that there were numerous observers?

maybe this is an attempt at depicting how these observers "came about" a.k.a growing up

Agreed. Did anyone record the thoughts of the 'lil observer. I believe that is backward masking. We need an audiophile Fringie to reverse record that and post it here. At least a transcript, if not the video in reverse.

So... what if the Observer is an angel?

Maybe I've watched PROPHECY too many times.

If someone captures the audio, I can reverse it...
