Where is Little Hill?
Nov 12 2008, 4:36 PM EST
Several interesting websites bear the name "Little Hill", not least among them a cow farm in Lebanon, PA. Is it a coincidence that Walter keeps a cow in his lab?

As in genes, dna get it? 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I'm going to take a wild guess: Little Hill is where the Observer lives.

Maybe the cow is too genetically 'altered' and was a plant in the lab, so they have a heads up on what's going on there.I mean, if they can talk to the dead, they can surely rig a listening device inside a cow! >_<' I know...silly but... one has to wonder. Is Gene really a mere docile bovine beast....or is there more milk to this smart cookie? 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"I'm going to take a wild guess: Little Hill is where the Observer lives. "That's kinda a neat idea. I sorta pondered that myself...but mostly it struck me as a cypher/code. Like they use in the military...or like a caesar code type shift thing. hmm... that could come in handy right about now. *Wanders off to scribble* Do you find this valuable? |

"I'm going to take a wild guess: Little Hill is where the Observer lives. "John Keats wrote a poem entitled: "I stood tip-toe upon a little hill", and it's filled with all kinds of references to Greek mythology. I wonder if Little Hill is another rabbit trail to something else and not so much the final destination place for "the gentlemen". I also wonder what Jones is going to do with that information, considering no-one is allowed to visit him (other than the employees at the prison). On a side note, interesting thing about that prison name: Wissenschaft. It is a complex German word losely translated as meaning "Science" but has deeper and alternate meanings such as "scholarship" "learning" or "discipline". I'm not so sure that the Observer is going to the "gentlemen" that Jones is asking about. Giving him up this soon is somewhat counterproductive to his mysteriousness. I don't think it is going to be William Bell either, because if he does "live" somewhere, they could probably find out that information by means other than trying to kill themselves with parasites! I'm thinking since the show ended with the six-fingered hand glyph, it is possible the "gentlemen" is the six-fingered hand man (if that glyph represents a real person and not just a symbolic clue). Just a thought. Do you find this valuable? |

It will be more complex than just a location. Do you find this valuable? |

"WHOA....good insight. I think you are right . It will be more complex than just a location."It might even refer to a location that "is" in another time. Ooh, I just had a brain storm (or fart :) - since we already know there is a group speaking Latin, and this last episode mentioned Casear ciphers, could the Little Hill refer to one of the Seven Hills of Rome? Come to think of it, and I could be speaking from my ignorance, that huge painting in Broyles office reminded me of something you might envision as Roman architecture (from some period). Perhaps the "gentlemen" is someone who either lives in Rome now, or lived in Rome at some time. Maybe they are seeking "his" burial site for an artifact or something? Just some random thoughts! I say little hill= another dimension. "the gentleman" has got to be the observer. but theres prob way more than one. and this is where they come from. maybe just a far-flung planet, maybe in another galaxy at like the center of the universe or somethin. but i like the idea of a whole different dimension.

Okay, here's an idea: how do we even know that Little Hill is a clue? I mean, Peter basically drew some horizontal lines to connect some vertical ones and that is the first thing that came out. "Little Hill" seemed to make sense to all the interested parties, but what if they re-look at those vertical lines again later and get a different answer? I think that would be brilliant of JJ if he did that --- lead everyone along to be googling Little Hill for weeks until he shows the clue isn't Little Hill at all.

Little Hill not Capitol Hill a place of US strategic importance The "gentleman" could be a high ranking person in the military or congress who leads the scientific research cell. Little Hill could be the Pentagon. Do you find this valuable? |

"Although I have never thought the Observer was an "alien" is it possible he is from a future in which we humans inhabit another planet (or perhaps the moon or something)?"In "the Observer" thread I said just that. I believe he is from the future sent back to follow the pattern. Rather than retype the whole thing, check out the observer thread. There are some really interesting ideas on there from a lot of people. Very interesting ideas on this thread about "little hill." Keep it up!! @_@ Do you find this valuable? |
