Something about the green eyes got me thinking.
The 'Evil Eye' ----->Paradox's ----> Socrates ----> Ethics -----> No one desires evil intentionally. Perhaps those with the green eyes are indicative of these things. Perhaps the green eyes are related to the 'evil eye' theorem that so many of yesteryear believe in...that because these people were different they must be evil, because they got more attention for their eye color, they were thought to be evil, and that they invoked 'envy' . Perhaps the green eyes are native of this alternate reality, but perhaps it's better than the 'current' one that the team is a part of. Perhaps the blue eyes are the envious ones. (It's just a theorem I've been milling about...) Remember all the talk about Robert Jones wanting to have the 'attention' of William Bell? I wonder if this all started by Walter and Bell being in competition to some degree, way back when. Perhaps because of the green eyed 'evil eye' jealousy thing, this all sprang about. The seperations...etc. I think Walter is going to turn out to be the character we will hate in the long run. He will become so endeared to us that we will sympathize with him and forgive him because we'll feel sorry for him. I think all of this has been based upon jealousy. Think about it... if your children were 'envied' because of special ability --- think of the rift you'd create amongst those without special ability. Just some rambling thoughts...

The sudden and unexpected attack on someone with close ties to Fringe Division, the return of bioterrorist David Robert Jones and the inexplicable disapperance of Walter set the stage for a non-stop, nail-biting season finale. Questions will be answered, observations made, loyalties tested and truths and identities revealed.

A time paradox is where an untimely event changes do to something happening that wasn't supposed to happen and that is exactly what happened in Fringe. An example of a paradox would be, Olivia seeing an alternate reality which gives her information that changes her realities future. This means that, that wasn't technically supposed to happen because it wasn't going to happen without some kind of intercession. That is a paradox and according to many time travel theories because there was paradox, something drastic must happen to subvert the current course of events into its proper direction. So I think something drastic will happen soon in fringe that will change everything (whether it changes the appearance of one of the characters of fringe or changes the way we know them). That something drastic may actually be happening now with the possible death of Nina Sharp or Walters possible expedition through or to an alternate reality. Lets see what happens.

Hey All,
Does anyone out there know how they pulled off the titles for this show? Like when we show up at different locations - the one that stands out is Baghdad, Iraq. The appear to be 3D, but also reflective - as if a filter was thrown on top and reacted to the picture it was placed over. It looks very similar to how David Fincher did the titles for his film Panic Room, or even the "Priceless" commercial when the titles become a part of the action. Is this making any sense? Thanks, Sean

Latest news ... from Reuters (http://www.reuters.com/article/entertainmentNews/idUSTRE55N0OO20090624)
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Meghan Markle has joined the cast of Fox's sci-fi drama "Fringe" in a recurring role as an attractive, brash and quick-witted junior FBI agent. The series, set to return for a second season in the fall, stars Anna Torv as FBI special agent Olivia Dunham, who investigates paranormal phenomena with the help of Dr. Walter Bishop (John Noble) and his son Peter (Joshua Jackson). Markle previously appeared in a story arc on the CW's "90210." Poor Olivia, we thought Harris was gone, but here comes "an attractive, brash and quick-witted junior FBI agent", looks like she will have another 'headache' to deal with. I thought Astrid is the junior agent working with Olivia, where does Astrid stands now?

To all fans of the show Fringe, I am a another lover of the show right up until earlier today. I took a flight from LA to Vancouver and who should be on my flight but Mr. Kirk Acevedo, cool huh! I thought so, and so did my kids and my wife when I called them before the plane took off. My daughter was especially excited as she is 11 and she was really digging that daddy was on the same plane as someone she watches on TV. So I tried to be respectful and never said a word to Mr. Acevedo while on the plane, but I ran into him again while waiting in the cattle line to get through customs. I approached him in passing in line and asked kindly if there was a chance I could get a picture with him, I told my daughter I would give it a try. He actually said yes and said we could do it as soon as we got through customs which I thought was very cool and I was excited that I would be able to send my family a picture with me hanging with a famous actor. I was thinking how cool my daughter was going to think that this was. So he got through customs about 5 minutes faster than I did and as I was getting through customs and surprisingly it went very fast, I see Mr. Acevedo look over at me as I am coming through and grab his bag and high tail it at light speed to get out of there, leaving me disappointed, not because he took off like that but he proved to be just another stuckup lying piece of Hollywood scum. I had a great time this evening talking to my daughter and my wife and letting them how he blew me off like most other celebrities do to the rest of most of us common folk. In closing I just would like to say I have no more use for the show and I doubt it but I hope Mr. Acevedo takes the time to read this. Thanks for blowing off a fan I really appreciate it, and congrats for losing a dedicated viewer. You are the jerk that I was hoping you would'nt be.

What do you think Season 2 will bring? William Bell's Death, Dr.Summner tries to take Walter away from Peter. The Observer decides to take sides. Olivia loses her mind temporarily. Charlie Francis gets killed. Astrid goes Nina Meyers and kills Broyles. Character Bombshells? Astrid goes Nina Meyers and kills Broyles. Alter Walter comes to town and he's mad. Plot twists? Rachel gets murdered and Ella gets kidnapped. (And tested upon.) It turns out that William Bell and Walter Bishop switched consciousness... Potential Relationships? Rachel and Peter get close... then Rachel gets murdered. Broyles and Nina Sharp get close and then Astrid kills Broyles. Gene the cow gets a mate :) Jaw Droppers? Walter will get a love interest. The child version of the Observer comes back and helps Olivia. Nick Lane wakes up and goes completely berzerk. It turns out that there are several factions of ZFT and one of them believes in the chapter of ethics. INTREPUS comes back and gets revenge on Olivia. A cross over episode with BONES... Walter and Dr Brennan end up Best friends. Booth and Olivia decide to date :) What SHOULD happen? Walter turns out to know what the pattern is. Before Bell dies he tells Olivia that he is carrying a large part of Walters Consciousness...like Olivia did with John Scott. The Alter Charlie Francis becomes part of the Fringe team...because FOX realizes they were idiots for firing Kirk Acevedo. What will be revealed about the pattern? It is a red herring just like the man said in the episode The Dreamscape.

I think I found something really important about Peter!!
Watch episode 1.04 The Arrival. Get to the part where the guy in the beanie is listening to peters thoughts with the things up his nose. ***Crank up the volume really high and listen to when the beanie guyy asks Peter where the beacon thingy Is**** at that moment you can hear voices very lowly!!! you guys on here aare really smart and probably technologically in inclined so is it possible to hear what the voices are saying? It sounds like a woman, his mother? Him and wallter bicker like there married so maybe Peter is a clone of his mother?

I just hated the first episode of Fringe and shot off my mouth bigtime, so it's only fair to say that now I am now a total convert and a huge fan of Fringe.
I think the writing is brilliant, the characters delicious (though the resentful son sarcasm has gotten really old - as is he for the behaviour), the plots refreshingly original and I'm pining for the next season - it just can't come back fast enough to suit me.

I really just wanted to open up a discussion for those who have been watching. I enjoyed this last episode very much. It was good. I plan to keep on watching. It's finally peaked my interest. Regarding Observer, can't wait to see what he's all about. He definitely brought a new element to the story. Is he some kind of Alien, maybe an Angel or his he a Clone? What was that language he was writing in? I also loved how the writers had to come up with a reason for Peter to stay. The whole mind reading thing blew me away. And the wires up the nose to read thoughts made me think of mummification. Too weird!! Glad to see Olivia's assistant, Arid??? getting more time. Loved how Walter had to drug her out. She's a memorable character. And I thought Walter's place to hide the maching was fantastic... Keep up the clever creativity!

i have been thinking about how walter was approaching peter at the beginging og the series about how he thought he would be fatter , checked his pupils, and asked about his blood pressure in the car, walter didnt really know peter for 17 years of his life, and high blood pressure isnt really common and a young age, maybe walter suffers with it...and thats how he knew, and he thought he would be fatter? could walter have had weight issues in his past to cause high blood pressure?, regardless, i think peter is a clone of walter to protect some kind of infomation, what do we know about peters mother? let me hear your thoughts, also cloneing is practiced on sheep and cows right? might explain all this cows and sheep co-fuzzle on the forums at the moment.

I truly believe that William Bell is not the incognito good guy who wants to help Dunham or anyone for that matter.
Here is my theory: In the laternate universe things are not quite what they are here. While events and occurrences are at times polar opposites, i.e. Twin TOwers still stand, JFK still alive, some are just a little different. Willam Bell - no family to date, very rich, successful genius businessman/scientist. Walter Bishop - family man, no financial wealth, institutionalized genius scientist WB = WB Walter and William discover the portal on their own sides of the parallel universe. Walter doesn'ttravel between the two universes but William does. Walter and William want others to be able to do the same or somethng goes wrong and there becomes a need for persons to be able to do the same at some future date. They create Cortexiphan and begin to test children. In another experiment something goes horribly wrong killing a lab assistant. William escapes to the alternate universe leaving Walter there to take the fall. Walter begins to try and explain the alternate universe. He is deemed a nut case and is locked away in St. Clairs. I was thinking to that William Bell has no record prior to the opening of Massive Dynamic, at least on TV, when the government wants information or technlogy they do not delve too deep into the person who can make it happen. Since he and Walter were geniuses they could have forged any document neccessary to make William Bell's existence on this side of the universe unquestionable, when he sees the lab assistant die, William takes goes back taking any evidence of his involvement with him. Only returning when Walter is institutionalized and he alone stands to benefit in both worlds from their research. William Bell's background is not investigated becuase he controls what they would investigate with Any supporters or detractors to my theory?

Forgive me for parroting a lyric line from Rod Stewart’s song Losing You but I sense that there’s a very important person out there that we haven’t met. Please consider the following data: It’s irrefutable that Nina and Bell are tied closely together. Bell engineered her arm. Nina set up the meeting between Bell and Dunham. Nina has a great deal of respect for Dunham. She attempted to recruit her. Therefore, Bell most likely, also has a great deal of respect for Dunham. We know that Jones attempted to recruit Dunham. Harris, on the other hand, totally mistreated Dunham. He tried to run her off in a number of episodes. In Episode 19, Harris was quite willing to allow Dunham to perish with the combustible Ms. Lewis.
Harris was controlled by a powerful person that was able to place him in an over-sight position of the Broyles team. If this person was Nina, Bell or Jones, Harris would have been directed to treat Dunham nicely. We can deduce that this person is either fearful of Dunham, sees her as an obstacle in accomplishing his own mission or is unaware that she is a cortexiphan super child (or all of the above.) This person controls another ZFT-like organization that was responsible for the events of Episode 19 and perhaps others. The light box tester that we viewed in Episode 19 was different than the one Jones gave Dunham. I sure would like to ask Harris who his boss is but…he’s been turned into a charcoal brisket. And before the political correctness police descend upon me, this person’s gender could be female.

Am I the only one worried about Fringe being moved to friday night. As far back as Star Trek: TOS, that The Original Series for the pilgrims, friday night 8pm to 11pm has been a death sentence. And Fox has the longest record of friday night cancellations, and in a couple of cases Fox moved successful series to friday night then cancelled. I really don't want Fringe to end , I'm tired of getting into a show then it ending.

In the first episode while Walter is telling Peter not to send him back to St. Clair's he says "I have been woken up, I can't go back to sleep now..." If i remember correctly waking someone up is what Olivias test partner said when he was speaking with her. I may be wrong with this info and if I am please correct me. Sorry it's so late but I just re watched the first episode.
