Character's backstory: Has spent most of her life working at Massive Dynamic, and owes the company her life. She was diagnosed with cancer and had to have her right arm removed due to it. It has been replaced with a robotic arm which appears to function exactly like a biological arm.

In the season finale, we also learn that she has kevlar body parts in her chest, which Broyles cites as the reason for her surviving the shooting and her fast recovery.

No direct information but possibly was involved with Walter Bishop somehow when Peter was young. Views Peter with affection as she played with him when he was a boy, and as an adult Peter feels comfortable asking for a favor.
