Fringe Season 2 Speculations
Peter is from the alternate universe. He died as a boy and was retrieved by Walter. His being here has thrown everything off. This is why the visitors continue to come through the door. They can't figure out who needs to be captured and brought back. Walter remembers more than he can say right now.

| Character Bombshells? | Olivia was the cause of "other" Peter's death. Or Peter and Olivia were paired during the trials, sealing why they seem to be so connected to each other. Olivia's sister is aware of the pattern, but is not on the same side as Olivia. Her main objective is to distract Peter from the mission. |
| Plot twists? | Nina's arm is not a result of cancer, but a result of Walter shutting the soft spot before she completely cleare, due to alternate Walter having a hold of her from the otherside. |

I noticed that the guy in the dream sequence show had the scar on his face in the shape of the number two. When Olivia was having 'glimps' into the other reality, Charlie also had the same scar. i think that scar is key to the trial and the way the children were paired up. Or used as a mark to identify a child from one reality and the other. |
| What SHOULD happen? | That this show not be taken off the air until ALL questions are answered. This is the best sci-fi drama I have seen in a long time. All the fans should give all their support to the writers and producers of the show to continue this series. |

I think it will become more clear that the pattern is a global happening. The pattern also may be found to be a series of events that lead to a bigger event, e.i. prophsy. |

Im hoping for more details about the " Observers " Kinda agree with what someone said about them being from a more advanced dimension and monitoring the development of the lesser ones and trying to figure out the grand scheme of things . | What do you think Season 2 will bring? | Universal warfare between our world, the "otherside", and the Observers will be outlined as well as initiated towards the end of the season. Walter will reveal more to peter about his past and his possible other identity. Olivia will learn her "ability" or "abilities" and may side with massive dynamic, and find that there is a much deeper and darker connection with each other. Walter's past will be revealed, and he will explain how and why he crossed over to take peter and reveal how his real son died. Broyles connections will come full circle and his relationship with Nina sharp will be more thuroughly explored, as well as my theorized beleif that he is connected to William Bells experiments/?clones?. |

| Plot twists? | ZFT are actually the good guys attempting to shut down the experiments William Bell is creating as well as assisting his experiments in discovering their potential abilities, and their future leader is Olivia Dunham. The Shapshifters will start invading our world because, lo and behold, their world is already beginning to deteriorate; and thier ulterior motive all along was not to destroy our world, but to eradicate and inhabit it. The fringe team crosses over to the otherside and could possibly and temporarily trapped their only to find life shattering revelations. The Observers true intent is the destruction of universes and not worlds, and in this season, it will be decided which one will survive, possibility of another rogue Observer; reffering to the August episode when August died and ?September? said that "She" was the cause of his death and that they will pay. |

Peter meets alter Walter and must choose between the otherside or our world, and depending on that decision, one of the Walters ?dies?, and learns Peter could also be an experimental soldier, William Bells true intentions are to only travel from world to world, stealing and selling information and assisting in the destruction of certain ones that stand in his way, he could also be the true creator of the super soilders, and Walter created the clones. |

| What do you think Season 2 will bring? | -answers to what cortexephyn also does **always wondered about why during the Video of Olivia when she was a girl and how Walter referred to her as "OLIVE"? might just be a nickname or could be alter Olivia? -Which Walter is Evil? - Our Walter conducted experiments alongside "BELLY" alter of William Bell??... notice when Olivia met him he said "I'm William Bell" Our walter so far been pretty much connected with the pattern, ie. the bank vault, etc. -Peter will learn about his death - also he referred to his memory of the pancakes @ the cabin that one time, and it might have been from his old life? remember so far he's only had good fond memories when he was younger. -The observers - they are observing time... hmmm im a bit stumped. A lot of you had great speculations on their meaning. |

I believe as many of you do that the real peter bishop is dead (as seen by Walter visiting his grave in season finale) and that the Peter we see was retrieved from the alternate universe by Walter (walter states in season 1 finale that he had to retrieve something that he lost that was very dear to him from the alternate universe) And I belive thats why he concieved the device to close the portal incase someone tried to come after him. Peter does not know he is from the alternate universe and that is why he dont remeber everything Walter states he did as a child. Note Walters expression when this happens in the finale or other episodes.

Walter in last night's show said that he did not want Peter to die a second time. I guess that says alot about where Peter came from.
