UNANSWERED QUESTIONS & PLOT DANGLERS
|
- When will Walter reveal or the other characters realize that Peter is from the Other Side and Our World Peter is dead?
- Why does the Other Side want to open the gate, and cause the worlds to collide?
- What role do the Observers play? Are they aliens? Do they exist on both sides? They seemed to be collecting intelliegnce on behalf of the Other Side in 2.03, but the Observer has worked with Walter on Our World.
- What prevents William Bell from returning to Our World?
- Can people interact with their other world counterparts? If so why wouldn't' Bell work with Olivia etc. on the Other Side to prevent people crossing over? It was implied in season one that Other Side Walter visited Walter in the hospital.
- Is William Bell on a respirator due to personal health reasons, or for some reason relating to the difference in realities?
- Why was a cryonic company holding the Leader's head? And how did they obtain it in the first place? And did they know what they had?
| | PLOT HOLES, INCONSISTENCIES OR JUST PLAIN IMPOSSIBLE? Add unbelievable incidents or sci-fi faux pas to this list!
| - Going back to ep 2.01, had they done an autopsy on the Nurse the shapeshifter killed, they would have realized that body did not have bullet holes and was NOT the shapeshifter, then quickly deduced that it had assumed Charlie's form. This is basic procedural detective work.
- William Bell says he pulled Olivia out of the car just before the accident. This would mean in Ep 1.20 when she avoids the accident, reaches the restaurant, and waits for hours she is already on the Other Side. But there was no visual clue she crossed then. Then the sequence in Ep 1.20 in the elevator would be her teleporting to the WTC . If she didn't shift until the elevator this would mean she returned to Our World before she left.
- If they believed the dead nurse in 2.01 was the shape-shifter, than they never accounted for the body of the dead nurse. Doing so would also be basic procedural detective work.*
- If time is of the essence, why does the shape-shifter beat Olivia for a while before calling the other hybrids with the vital information? And if he plans to eliminate Olivia, why doesn't he just kill her instead of beating her, and then making a phone call? These are not the actions of a trained soldier/infiltrator.
- Why is Peter in the alley with Olivia in the pictures below? He was not there in the actual episode... ?

EPISODE'S BEST QUOTES
|
- "I thought that we agreed this was a stupid idea."
"Oh, no, you decided. I still maintain that the principle is perfectly sound." "He wants you to eat worms." "Not just worms, flatworms!" - Walter, Peter
- "Why?"
"Why..." "Why are shape-shifting soldiers from another universe stealing frozen heads?" - Broyles, Olivia
- "Bishop's Deli" - Astrid (as she answers the phone)
- "Agent Francis, hello."
"Hey." "You all right? You look pale." "Yeah, I didn't get much sleep last night." "Oh. I may be able to help you with that. A little cannabis before bedtime does wonders, huh?" - Walter, Charlie
- "Let's see how this thing operates."
"What are you saying, that this is not a person?" "My dear, I'm not certain that you're not simply a figment of my imagination." - Walter, Astrid
- "So, can you fix it?"
"You understand you're asking me if I can repair a piece of technology that is entirely unlike anything that has ever existed here on Earth?" "Brandon..." "Now that I have one that works, I can do it in three hours... tops." - Nina, Brandon
- "Do you think she'll remember me?
"I think she might. I'm gonna guess there's not too many men in her life who have strapped her to a table and pumped her full of a massive amount of psychedelics." - Walter, Peter
- "A storm is coming, perhaps the last and worst storm of all. And when it is over, I fear there will be little left of our world. The shape-shifters on your side are looking for someone, someone to open the door between universes. And if they find him, there will be no stopping them." - William Bell
- "As I once said to Walter, physics is a *****." - William Bell
- "Oh, Walter, what you did... you made me special."
"The truth is... I believe you were always special." - Rebecca, Walter

OMG! MOMENTS
|
- Olivia shot Charlie in the alley.
- Walter (with a "is that a quarter or are you just happy to see me" moment) and Peter outside Rebecca's door.
- When Walter asked Peter to ring the bell - Olivia passed out from memory overload.
- Bell told Olivia she was the guardian of the gateway (he & Walter KNEW there would come a storm and she was the strongest of the children, therefore best candidate for the position).
