UNANSWERED QUESTIONS & PLOT DANGLERS

  • How and why did John Scott know Raul Lugo?

  • What memories of John's are so important that both Massive Dynamic and Jones' people want them?

  • Who do Loeb and Jones work for?

  • Why is Mr. Jones so important that his people need to recover and use a time/space probe to teleport him from prison?

  • Why did Mr. Jones need to learn about Little Hill from Mr. Smith, and why did Mitchell seemingly have to use that specific site for the teleport/escape?
PLOT HOLES, INCONSISTENCIES OR JUST PLAIN IMPOSSIBLE?
Add unbelievable incidents or sci-fi faux pas to this list!
  • After what appears like extremely precise setting of the tripod devices in Little Hill, one of Loeb's team grabs one and moves it around like binoculars.

EPISODE'S BEST QUOTES

  • " I was in Baltimore. I remember a woman with particularly large breasts." - Walter

  • " No, Peter’s right. Your pupils are dilated. It’s a symptom of high stress. Unless you’re using hallucinogens. Are you tripping, Agent Dunham?" - Walter

  • " Think back 20 years. Imagine yourself then imagining yourself now, 20 years into the future. In your wildest imagination, could you ever think you’d be here?" - Walter

  • "You violated the laws of nature, Mr. Eastwick, and Mother Nature is a *****." - Peter
OMG! MOMENTS

  • Walter explaining to a hapless H.I. Worker why he needs a saw. We get to see a "normal" person interact with Walter... and immediately go running to call the police!

  • There are 28 guest stars in this episode, a record for the series (and for most single episodes of any given series).

EPISODE TRIVIA

  • The Observer is seen on the security monitor at the very beginning, right before one of Mitchell's men switches it off.

What did you think of this episode?

Me, personally found it the most exciting and spetacular since the beginning of the show. The Observer shows up in the very beginning in a security monitor outside the bank, simply walking with his hat on and carrying a briefcase.
