I think I miss one chapter. This or last season, when they were talking about Olivia's childhood.
Can anyone clarify Olivia and Peter relationship please?. I read something on a magazine about it. |

In Dream Logic, we learn that Peter suffered from nightmares as a child, but that Walter taught him to repeat a mantra which helped him forget. Thoughts and theories? Any other possibilities? Please add 'em here!

After 2 weeks of baseball interruptions, I was glad for anything.
Not one ounce of the primary story was offered tonight. (Pattern, ZFT, First Wave, et al.) To purely speculate on the Russians reasoning for keeping this shadow being so secret, I believe they wanted to harness or control it and use it as a weapon. Proving to be too much to handle, by the end of the show we realize that the host body and the shadow body have bonded on a molecular level and apparently recover from a point blank shot to the head. So, since the gov't cannot effectively contain the Cosmonaut, they jettison the man into space. Will the Shadow Symbiote return to Earth one day? Who knows? This is beginning to look a lot like the Spider Man/Venom story. |

A little nudge from all of us to the show's Powers That Be...
Personally: -better cases!/writing!: I still love the show, and I still think there are lots of moments of brilliance, but I often find myself somehow a little disappointed after every episode. I still think that the Pilot was the show's best episode, and that's the standard I (perhaps unfairly) judge every episode against. The reasons why the pilot was so good was b/c it had great acting, some snappy dialogue, a mind blowing case--in which the audience was invested even more b/c john scott's life was at stake, a powerful and heartbreaking betrayal, ect., ect. -More Broyles: Broyles is an amazing actor with a tremendous amount of on-screen presence. I loved his S2 E1 scene defending the unit's work. -We have to learn more about Peter's past/see more of Peter's intellectually brilliant yet badass side: I am really intrigued about what he was doing in Iraq, ect. I want to know what his relationship with Walter was like early on. I know that he's supposed to be a genius, but I just want to see him working with Walter more. Finally, I always get a kick out of those chase scenes when like he and Olivia split up to cut someone off and we see Olivia jumping into fire escapes, running really hard, and then we see Peter beat her to the escapee at the last second. -Peter/Olivia action: I have posted about them before somewhere else, but, anyway... I know Anna Torv hopes this doesn't happen, b/c it'd be "so conventional" but... what's wrong with another one of those epic tv loves? Yeah I try not to think of myself as too much of a romantic, but if I'm being honest, I still kinda am deep down. Anyway, off the top of my head, don't most sorta science-y, forensics, government/special agent/cop, procedural shows (excluding medical shows) not have too much romance (TBC)

I was super disappointed in the premier last night. The finale was so great and last night just seemed completely unrelated. Other gripes: new character (not ready yet), not enough Walter, not very mysterious, dialogue had some real eye-rollers (Peter especially "sweetie" and the like), Olivia's freaked-out-ness wasn't explored enough/explored too much, piss poor job of re-introducing the characters to new viewers, killed Charlie!....
I could go on but I'll stop. Am I the only one? I really hope they turn this around.

So, is the typewriter in a special place, or is it a very special typewriter?
And the mirror, is it there for effect, or is it a window? Could we see the other person typing if we were able to get the right camera angle...? And, if the typewriter is in a 'special' location, could Walter's lab be one of those locations? He seems very adamant that his work be done in his lab with his equipment... but is that just an aside to another reason for needing to be there?

I just was watching "Fracture" for the third time today and I noticed something that may just be an overactive imagination or the contrary. At the end of the episode the Observer obtains pictures of Walter apparently as the man is explaining to Broyles. Does anyone find his posture different than that of normal Walter? He seems more relaxed and composed and in a suit in one. There is also no Peter or Olivia. Could this possibly be pictures of an Alternate Walter?? Thoughts??
