I've been waiting and wondering when Olivia's 'ability' would show itself. It suddenly occurred to me today that we have known ever since 1.04, The Arrival, what her gift is. She is able to connect things. She says to Peter that she has always been able to do this. What if the cortexiphan enhanced this ability in her as a child, and like Nick, the ability stayed present in her life even though she has no memories of the testing? She might still be revealed to have a super-strength, but I think this is it. She's already better than the FBI at seeing connections, and she is much more brilliant the MD's team of scientists who studied the pattern of strange occurrances in the Boston/ Northeast US area. I think this also explains why, when she shut the lights off in Ability (1.14), nothing happens to her, like it does to Nick (his ability suddenly goes out of control) and the twins, who can't control their fire abilities.
Do you have any theories on what Olivia' ability enhanced with cortexiphan could be? And if she hasn't shown it yet, why? Or if she has shown it, why she can control hers so easily and the others couldn't?

What if Bell didn't start the war with the other universe, but Walter did when we went over there and grabbed the alternate Peter? Now alternate Walter (who I'd guess is every bit as intelligent) is the one who created the mercury shape-shifters to cross over, and is looking for revenge on our universe for stealing his son. Maybe that's also what Walter and Bell on our side were preparing for with the child Dunham?

O.K. This is it, I'm done with the newspaper. I found the date on it is Tuesday May 12 2009. The same day
the episode ran. States the Obama's are moving into new white House. So this would mean the 9-11 flight got through to White House, and towers were missed, not attacked, etc. Someone wrote, they thought that would be a long time to rebuild. Not actually, when you figure it is a federal building, so everything, design, cost, who builds, etc. etc., would have to go through congress. Imagine what that would be like. Plus the clean-up time, enviromental studies, etc. Next it says president Kennedy to address UN. If the time line runs the same as our universe, he would be 92 years old. Highly unlikely. That would also mean Obama would'nt be the first prez. to address UN. Then it says Celtics sweep NBA finals. As a Celtic fan, I can tell you that did'nt happen. Also NBA finals never start until about middle of June. Says Len Bias was MVP of finals. In our world he died 6-19-1986. Even if he had'nt and again same timeline, this would make him about 45. Not gonna happen in the NBA. (In our world). That's about all I can get out of it, if anyone can find anything else, please list it. On to something else IS THERE ANYBODY OUTH THERE?

Man, I love John Noble's character. Maybe it's because Walter reminds me so much of Vincent Price.
In fact, I think if this great show had been developed back in the 60's, it WOULD have been Vincent Price as Walter. |

If they are going to place paid commecials in the show I hope they can find a better way to build them in. That whole sequence of her calling from the car felt out of place and took away from the show.

Watched The Universe season three last night, and got into the segment Parallel Universes.
What a mind job. Had to take 3 aspirins, and still had a headache. Anyway they had a theory called a level 3 Universe, which if anywhere near right fits our show. They claim that in this level 3 universe, you exist in both at the same time, but doing things differently. The thing that keeps us seperate is that this other universe is in a different dimension, so we can't see it. If close to right, than Old Belly, just punches a hole between the dimensions, and yanks Liv out of the car, and then sends her back, actually maybe saving her life. Only problem with these type of theories, is it's going to be a long while before they can be proven. Maybe the big Swiss collider can prove it.

Maybe it's just me but has anyone else noticed that the hand glyph may be that of a female? The way to tell is, a female's ring finger and index finger are the opposite of a male's. In 99.9% of the time, the index finger of a female will be longer than her ring finger. And in males it is just the opposite the ring finger is longer than the index. So if all of the finger were to held together on the hand glyph, it appears that the index maybe longer than the ring finger. Maybe I'm wrong but take a look for yourself, could this be a hand of a woman?

I was only recently introduced to Fringe, so the answer to this question may be buried in the myriad posts already online - so my apologies if this seems redundant. I was wondering if anyone knows who provided the illustrations from "The Ghost Network" episode of Fringe (episode 3, I believe). I am the chief psychologist of an inpatient unit at a prison in Northwest Washington and have had a number of patients produce similar works. I've been hoping to use something that has the same feel for a publication coming out in early 2010; however, for ethical reasons I can't use any of my patients' drawings. Any information on the artist for that particular episode would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hey guys, my friend and I need some serious help. William Bell says to Olivia, We have a problem, I pulled you out of a moving car. This lead to what we saw in the season premiere of Olivia flying through the car windshield when she came back over. However, if we're not mistaken (and we haven't gone back to watch the season 1 finale so we may be) Olivia was never in a moving car. Was she not waiting in a restaurant where she was to meet Billy but he was a no show. She left the restaurant and got into an elevator with numerous other people and then she was in a elevator by herself. She got off and was taken to Bell's office. So please help me if I'm not recalling the events correctly but Olivia never got into a moving car right? Is this a plot hole that nobody is willing to discuss or that everybody missed? Or do I need to do my homework and rewatch the season 1 finale?

. .. ...
I've been watching season one repeatedly and as I look back I find somethings that are causing even more uncertainty in the storyline. The biggest one would have to be Episode 1.08 "The Equation"..... this is the episode in which the red and green patterned lights played their most important role. As I watched that episode I was "struck by thunder" so to speak when I remembered Walter laying in his cot singing "Row Row Row Your Boat" and another Walter appeared at the foot of his bed. Then reappeared again later across the street opposite Walter looking through some bars. Could this be the alter-Walter? Or was it really just a delusional mind play tricks on itself? Furthermore, anyone else notice a slight change in Walter's personality after that episode? One could almost fathom alter-Walter was the one that walked of St. Claire's the second time around. What do you think? ..... ....... |

The Glyph Code Key. Some letters not yet assigned, but you can extropolate what they would be. Orientation, position of the three dots, and rt-lft handedness all play a role in cracking the code.
