Walter makes several references to numbers in "The Same Old Story":
  • The combination to his garage lock was 31, 41, 59 - the first six digits Pi of (3.14159)

  • Instead of counting sheep, Walter counts out the Fibonacci numbers - 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55

  • Before Peter begins singing "Row Row Row Your Boat", Walter begins reciting more Fibonacci numbers, though out-of-order - 1, 233, 377, 2, 21, 610
